The aluminum frame of the Ocean hatch is designed with a smooth and flowing appearance, and is completely seamless at the corners. The aluminum profile is stronger and thicker than our Medium-profile hatch, but is also only 30mm wide, and only projects 25mm above the deck surface. hatches feature silver anodised extruded aluminium frames. The smoke-grey, 10mm thick acrylic lid is UV stabilized for long life.
The hinges are larger and stronger than the Medium Profile style, and also have the ability to dampen the operating angle. Therefore the bracing struts are not normally needed on the smaller hatches. The opening angle of the hatch is 0-180 degrees, and can be easily opened with the handles from both outside and inside. Of course, there are also safety-locks that can only be operated from inside our hatches, to ensure your security.
Usually the smaller hatches don&©|700;t need brace-struts, and therefore can be opened a full 180¡ã angle. Hatches with stainless-steel bracing-struts can be opened 0-100¡ã angle.
